Kundalini yoga is the best and the most effective form of yoga for people of all walks of life. It is the best form of hatha yoga. There are many good effective kundalini yoga poses for beginners. Kundalini hatha yoga for beginners has a lot of easy and effective poses. The most common and popular kundalini yoga poses are sukhasana or easy pose, siddhasana or perfect pose, padmasana or lotus pose, vajrasana or lotus pose and celibate or hero pose. In Sukhasana or easypose a person should comfortably cross his or her legs at ankles with both feet on the floor. During this posture one should keep the back straight by pressing forward the lower spine.
The posture of siddhasana or perfect pose involves sitting with right heels pressed against the perineum with the sole pressed against the left thigh. You should place left heel on the right heel pressing your body above the genitals. During this stage the toes should be tucked thigh and the right calf. This is the most comfortable of all kundalini yoga poses and it promotes psychic power.
During vajrasana one should sit on the heels kneeling down in such a way that you press the nerves present in the center of the buttocks. This pose helps your digestive system to even digest rocks so it is named as rock pose. Celibate posture arouses sexual energy to the spine and it involves one kneeling and sitting between the feet with feet hip wide apart.
Lotus posture involves lifting of left foot upto the upper right thigh and then placing the right thigh closest to the body.So people can derive lot of benefits with kundalini yoga poses for beginners.
