Relaxation Yoga Music

Music, for thousands of years, has been a way of life.  Music is spread every where.  Everywhere there is rhythm in nature.  Where there is rhythm there is music.  Where there is music there is relaxation calm and quiet.  Effect of sound and music has been recognized in every culture worldwide.  Music creates deep impact on emotions and feelings of an individual.  There is great effect of music on mental states of the listener.
In Nada Yoga vibrations and harmony of music is utilized to get connected with divinity within.  There are sacred chanting which helps break the rigid mental and physical constructs and take you deep into your own inner self and provide calm, peace and relaxation and connect you to the divine feelings regardless of whether it is a classical music, a new age music.

Music provides healing and well being effect.  Inspirational music undoubtedly provides relaxation and relieves stress.  Music is a good aid for Yoga.  It helps in taking you deep within through meditation.  Sounds of bells and Gongs in the Hindus and the Buddhist temples create a subtle rhythmic music.  To experience it, you have to just sit comfortable and relaxed in a calm and quiet place free from noise, close your eyes and non-mindedly just listen the sound of bell or gong from its first highest sound and feel how it slowly melts in the unknown dimension in environment, that is a journey from known to unknown.  You will not be able to demark the borderline where it vanishes.

Music is used in mantras and chanting also.  In many religions like Sufi, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and Jewish, some carefully chosen phrases are chanted to heighten connection with the Divine.
