Kundalini Yoga is a rather new form of Yoga popularised in the West by Yoga Bhajan in the late 60’s in his Healthy, Happy and Holy Foundation. Kundalini was earlier looked upon as something mystical and powerful and it was only due to the persistent efforts of Yogi Bhajan was this brought out to the mainstream public over the past coupled of decades.

Hatha yoga is generally the basic form of yoga exercise, which involves slow stretching of the body as well as meditation ,may be that is the reason that often it is called Hatha yoga meditation. It was Yogi Swatmarama, who introduced this form of yoga in 15th century and today millions of people worldwide to attain a balanced stage of body and mind practice it. Other forms of yoga exercises like Kundalini, Ashtanga yoga and Power yoga uses Hatha Yoga as its basis.
