There are many yoga therapies to reduce stress. There are yoga stress relief poses, yoga healing poses, and, naturally, yoga therapies. But perhaps you don’t have time to go to a proper gym to learn. Or maybe you aren’t that interested in yoga stress relieving tactics, yoga healing benefits, or the overall great feeling that comes from seemingly miraculous yoga therapies. Do not fear, non-believer! My top 10 list is guaranteed to have something for everyone. Whether you’re young or old, slim or thick, shy or out going, there will be at least one thing you either want to do or already do on this list that will help to better your life!
These are my top ten tips to relieving stress!

Number one, and possibly the most important, is to remain optimistic. Always keep in mind that you see things the way you want to. If you’re in a negative mindset, you’re going to have a lot of bad days!

Number two is to sit back and relax! Even just taking five minutes here and there will significantly help you out, and lengthen your life.

Three is to eat smart and well. Sure, a lot of people struggle to afford food that doesn’t reside in the realm of junk food, myself included, but that’s really no excuse. Just eat less!

Fourthly, focus on proper breathing! Taking some time to breathe deeply will really help to relieve stress. Best of all, you don’t actually have to take time out. You can breathe deeply while working, playing with the kids, or relaxing!

Five so decrees that you must take time to meditate! Not only does it focus on deep breathing, it mimics sleep.

Six so declares that you have to get a massage. While some may scoff, massages really do help. Not only do they relax your mind and body, they help blood circulation!

Get your eardrums ready – seven is to listen to music! When you listen to the right music, it can calm your mind, relax your body, and even lower blood pressure.

I think just about everyone is going to love number eight, which is to enjoy sex. I’m not saying to do anything you wouldn’t already, just don’t stop on account of stress. If you’re stressed and have sex, you will find yourself much more relaxed!

Nine on my list is to laugh a little easier! We’ve all heard the ‘laughter is the best medicine’ line before, and nowadays we have the science to back it up! That’s right, folks. Laughter really can be healing, and can really do a ditty when it comes to relieving stress!

Even if you’ve been with me so far, you might hate me for this one – quit smoking. Smoking is very stressful for your body, even if your mind feels more relaxed.
